About
MY BACKGROUND
Hello! I am Tawseef Ayoub Shaikh, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, NIT Srinagar, India. My current research focus is on Biomedical Data Analytics for Precision Medicine.
Before Joining NIT Srinagar, I worked as Assistant Professor in CSE Department at Pandit Deen Dayal Energy University (PDEU), Gandhinagar, Gujrat. Also, I worked as Assistant Professor (TEQIP-III, NPIU, MHRD) at Computer Science Engineering Department, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir, for 3 years.
My research interest includes Biomedical Data Analytics, Computer Aided Diagnostics Tools for Precision Medicine, Healthcare Informatics, Pattern Recognition, and Machine Intelligence.
I obtained my Ph.D. degree from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India, as a full-time Visvesvaraya Ph.D. fellowship from MeitY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Media Lab Asia, GoI).
I have been the recipient of the Visvesvaraya Ph.D., MOMA Fellowship, and many awards. Moreover, I have been granted 6 fully funded projects from NPIU, MHRD, and JKSTIC, worth about 27 lakhs, and all these projects have been completed. I have qualified UGC NET, GATE, and JKSLET in Computer Science Engineering/Applications.
